Online Nutrition Classes (wichealth.org):

Do your required nutrition education classes online by going to wichealth.org. Sign up for a new account or log in to your existing account. Once you create/log into your own account, choose a lesson specific to your category, or as recommended by a WIC nutrition assistant, complete the lesson, fill out the survey and print or email your certificate of completion. That’s it! Click on the website now wichealth.org.


Shop with WIC at the Farmers' Market:

Starting in the 2025 season, WIC authorized farmers' markets will accept the new California WIC Card! Use the California WIC card with its special quick-response (QR) Code to shop for seasonal, fresh fruits and vegetables. 

  • Shop at WIC authorized farmers' markets: Use your California WIC card with the QR code to buy fresh produce from local farmers.
  • Year-round access: Farmers will scan the QR code to process your purchase using your monthly Fruits and Vegetables Benefits.
  • Flexible spending: Spend as little or as much as you need, up to your available balance. 

WIC benefits at the farmers' market: Shopping at the farmers' market is a healthy way to support your local farmers while adding variety to your meals. Your WIC Card's special QR code allows you to use: 

  • The Fruits and Vegetables Benefits: This cash-value benefit is available year-round to help families buy more fresh fruits and vegetables. 
  • The monthly benefit amounts are:
    • $26 for children ages 1 to 5
    • $47 for people who are pregnant and postpartum
    • $52 for people who are breastfeeding
    • $78 for individuals breastfeeding more than one infant.
